are a few important
dates and events
to watch for.
Prince Kuhio Plaza
Demonstration This Saturday:
It has been two months since we
first announced
our demo…SHOW TIME IS NOW
UPON US!
Performance
Date: Saturday, December 2nd
Performance
Location: Prince Kuhio Plaza, Center Stage
Performance Time: 11:15 am – 12 noon
Meet in the front of Macy’s (women’s department entrance)
between 10:15am and 10:30am. We will
walk over to center stage
at approx. 11:00am.
Wear your
best black gi, red logo t-shirt, and
boys
wear your groin protection. Do
not enter the
mall with your
rank on. Instead, carry it in and we will rank
up
together as a team. Equipment needed…Double Short Sticks.
The
only shoes permitted to be worn
are
martial arts/wrestling shoes. Bare feet is fine.
Once
the performance
is done we will gather
as a team, take
a picture, remove ranks, and then
parents may take
their children. Please do not
walk around the mall with your
belt on.
What a special day. In 20 years
of instruction on the Big Island
this is only our second performance at
our local mall.
For those that
have committed to the performance…you are already winners
before your feet even
hit the stage.
